Runners on first and third, many if not most coaches just give second base to the base runner on first. There are ways to defend against runners on first and third in youth baseball, and different strategies to attack runners on first and third.
Most coaches just simply let the runner steal second on the basis of not making an error and/or giving up a run. Safe, boring but this is not necessarily wrong, if this is the coaches strategy. But there are other defenses in youth baseball with runners on first and third.
