Pitching in little league youth baseball games is not easy. Year after year it seems as if there are not enough youth baseball pitchers. Then comes so many opinions, and over coaching. Our goal for youth baseball pitchers should be to prepare them for high school baseball. Then we may in fact need more opinions and interaction to prepare them for college baseball. But, as youth little league baseball pitchers we need to focus on very little. Many things you hear will actually reduce the velocity of a youth baseball pitcher. As stated above..increased pitching velocity is not always the answer..it's just part of the equation.
